We've purchased all of our appliances here. They are the most knowledgeable in the business. They are excellent at walking you through all the options so that you get exactly what you're looking for.
We purchased a speed queen washer from Vandegrift two weeks before Thanksgiving. The delivery men placed the washer in an awkward place, not where it was supposed to go. They said that they would have to replace the hoses with longer ones to put it where it was supposed to go.
I dealt with their salesman, Darryl. He seemed pretty knowledgeable about what I wanted (dishwasher) and when he didn't know, he was able to look up the information. Installation of said dishwasher was done by Marcus. He called to see if I was available earlier than the expected window (about half an hour) and showed up at the agreed upon time. He did a fine job taking out the old dishwasher and installing the new one. He answered my numerous questions with patience. Their billing person, Faith, was also friendly and courteous.
Very satisfied. Had an emergency on a Sat. Their recommended tect. was here, fixed my problem, and gone in an hr. and the charge was extremely fair. Unusually good service from this company.
Overall, excellent service and experience!
We have called four times in less than one month to have them come out and move the washer to its proper location. Each time they tell us that we will get a call back from the service department. No call yet. We are very unhappy with the service and will never buy anything from this store again.
Vandegrifts is a pretty amazing find. Customer service was great, and when I ran into a problem with an appliance, they stood by their promise when the manufacturer would not. Amazing, in this day and age. I highly recommend. Daryl and Lindsay were great in the store, and service techs are actually friendly and quite knowledgeable.
