Typical sports bar that caters to locals with good area fare - even, I dare say, the Philly cheese steak egg rolls, an item I might've never ordered had it not shown up in front of me. As always in such places, avoid the wine by glass.
Super friendly staff, reasonable drinks, and good food.
Even with 2 weeks notice, our waitress was absolutely overwhelmed by our party, and drinks sometimes took an amazingly long time - with business as usual elsewhere. That fault lies with the manager, who should've provided her with a runner or back waiter for the evening. This makes me wonder how customer service will be when the unexpected happens.
I love this place for a good meal and a stiff drink ;)
Decent place for wings, crabs (on Monday) and beer. I used to recommend this spot, but over the past year or so it has not been the same. Sometimes the beer is flat. Sometimes they get our take out food order wrong. Often they are out of our favorite dish. This past week, we went for AYCE crab legs for my daughter's birthday, and we had to wait a good 5-10 minutes after they served the non-crab entrees for our first order, which were partially frozen. I want to like the place - it's locally owned, the staff is great, and they always do whatever they can to make up for a problem, but something is broken and needs to be fixed to earn a higher rating.
We were there on Turkey Tuesday. We had open face Turkey sandwiches with mashed potatoes & gravy, stuffing and cranberry sauce. Plenty of food and good taste.
