I brought both of my cats here. I went to a vet closer to my area in willow grove. That place gave me an incorrect and extremely scary diagnosis involving extractions for one of my cats. I went to N.B. per recommendation of my friend. The Dr. told me a simple teeth cleaning under anaesthesia would be a good idea, she ended up not needing any extractions at all. In regards to my other cat with eye problems, she was my hero. To put it simply, my cat has herpes of the eye. Common, caught it as a kitten on the streets. My last vet would tell me to bring him in every flare up, DID NOTHING everytime but tell me to do the same supplement and lubricating non-medicated eye drops. The trips weren't cheap either. I spent a lot of money and they got me no where . Doc at N.B. gave me antibiotic eye drops, his eyes cleared up and had less frequent flare ups since. Improperly treating my cats eyes in addition to making my other cats gum problems seem a lot worse than they are( it was easy money for them i think) i stopped visiting my vet. I now drive 35 minutes to N.B. bc I love them! In regards to the bad review I read here. I dont understand it. The receptionist was so warm, welcoming, and friendly to me and everyone that walked in after me. If she might occasionally be working on something important at her desk. I think its understandable if she can't put all of her attention on you at that moment. As to the smell? I never notice any abnormal smell. When it comes down to it...it is a vet. Animals come and go and probably somtimes do there business in office. When you go to the zoo, the primate building reeks, although they clean it. Animals can stink get over it. As to the cost she refered to, why would she assume they would not charge things like a blood test seperately? It is like that everywhere for vets and offices for humans. No place will charge you for just a check up unless it is a well visit. I thought that was common knowledge. As for them trying to vaccinate before getting records, it must have been something on the owners part bc they WOULD NOT vaccinate one of my cats until the prior vet faxed over the info although I insisted I new the proper info. They were very strict about it. I flat out don't believe that is how the situation went down. IMy experience at N.B. has always been nothing but great. I love my animals and only want the best care for them while not going bankrupt. They provide great care at a more than reasonable price. Such a personal experience. I will never take my animals else where. I would recommend them to any one.

I also want to mention that my girl is not very good with other dogs so when another dog came in, they let me and her go into their lab room to bypass the other dog and so we could leave. This will be her vet from now on!! :)

When you are here, you receive very special treatment. The receptionist is warm and the veterinarian is both experienced and very loving towards animals. She took her time with my pet and made sure all of my questions were fully answered before we left. I am thrilled to have moved into the area and found a vet this good.

I needed a vet right away in getting my dog up to date on her shots. The availability I needed, they were able to set an appt for me. My girl ears were very badly scratched and she won't let me touch them to clean them out. Taking her here, they were very careful with her, they had put a muzzle on her for safety in which I completely understand that. They did noticed that she was very protective of me so they asked me to step out the room and she was so much better for them. I didn't mind any of this at all for I only want what's best for my baby girl. She was fine and they were very informational on the different types of medication needed for her.

Love this office. Great vet at good prices and everyone very friendly.
